PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple casting core capable of surely preventing the displacement of the core before and after pouring for improving the dimensional accuracy of a casting product, and to provide a method of preventing the displacement of the casting core. SOLUTION: Each of the cores 5, 6 includes: each core print part 5b, 6b in which the displacement is restricted by an upper mold 2 and a lower mold 3; and each mold part 5a, 6a which is disposed in a cavity 4 formed with the upper mold 2 and lower mold 3, and forms a part of a product shape casted with the upper mold 2 and lower mold 3. The cores 5, 6 are provided with each weight 7, 8 built in the mold parts 5a, 6a, respectively, wherein the gravity G acting on each mold part 5a, 6a each having the built-in weight 7, 8 is large compared with the buoyancy F acting on each mold part 5a, 6a each having the built-in weight 7, 8 by molten metal when the molten metal is poured into the cavity 4.
