摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure for electric motor, having proper cooling performance and suppressing the loss due to oil. SOLUTION: The cooling structure for electric motor includes an end plate 21 formed on a rotating core 2, having a rotating shaft 16 inserted therein, wherein a groove 25 is formed on the end plate 21; a coolant (oil) is supplied from a supply port 31 to a coolant path 26 provided in an axis A1 between a wall surface of the end plate 21 and an end surface 36 of the rotating core 2; the coolant path 26 causes the coolant to pass to cool the rotating core 2; and a stator core 1 is cooled by the coolant discharged through a first discharge port 32. In the cooling structure, the end plate 21 is provided with a circular discharge groove 33 on the outer circumference of the coolant path 26, and the discharge groove 33 is provided with a second discharge port 34 for discharging the coolant through the discharge groove 33; from the outer circumferential side of the coolant path 26.
