<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device and a stereoscopic image display method, capable of displaying an excellent stereoscopic image, according to the position and attitude of a viewer, even when the direction of a line connecting a right eye and a left eye is inclined or vertical, not horizontal because the viewer lies on a sofa. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display device includes: a parallax image output part 10 outputting a standard parallax image; a viewer's attitude detection part 20 detecting the attitude data of the viewer W including the tilt angle of the line connecting the right and left eyes of the viewer W; a parallax adjusting part 30 adjusting the parallax of the standard parallax image, based on the attitude data of the viewer W of the viewer's attitude detection part 20; a parallax image display part 40 displaying a parallax image outputted from the parallax adjusting part 30; and stereoscopic viewing spectacles worn by the viewer W, to stereoscopically view the parallax image displayed on the parallax image display part 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
