<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze causes of fault occurrence in a plurality of image forming apparatuses while considering information such as installation environments and usage tendencies of the plurality of image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A management system processing part 502 in a management apparatus 102 collects information concerned with fault occurrence and information concerned with using environments from a plurality of image forming apparatuses and determines whether faults occur frequently in the plurality of image forming apparatus in a prescribed period by using the information concerned with the fault occurrence (S804), and determines whether there is a change satisfying a prescribed condition in the using environments of the plurality of image forming apparatus by using the information concerned with the using environments (S805, S806).
