<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent recording capacity of a recording medium from being wasted during so-called vertical imaging using a compound-eye digital camera. <P>SOLUTION: The compound-eye digital camera including a plurality of imager, includes: a detector for detecting whether it is vertical imaging; a recorder for recording on a recording medium images to be obtained from part of or all imager in the plurality of imager; a shutter button for instructing imaging; and a controller for controlling the recorder so as to record on the recording medium images to be obtained from part of imager among the plurality of imager, when the vertical imaging is detected by the detector and the imaging is instructed by the shutter button. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
