<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound generation device which controls a reproduction mode and changes a musical sound decoration mode, according to a digital audio signal transported from outside. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 10 determines whether or not, a SPDIF receiver section 16 is in a normal mode which synchronizes with an SPDIF signal of a normal transmission rate corresponding to a sampling rate of a general PCM sound data. When it is in the normal mode, a received data which is decoded by the SPDIF receiver section 16 is supplied to an indicated module of a sound source 17. On the other hand, when it is not in the normal mode, it is transformed to a control mode in which the SPDIF receiver section 16 synchronizes with the SPDIF signal of a different transmission rate from that of the normal transmission mode, and a control command in the received data which is decoded by the SPDIF receiver section in the control mode, is interpreted and executed, and an operation parameter in the indicated module in the sound source 17 is updated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
