PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure smoothness of a fitting-in operation of both housings. SOLUTION: In a lever-type connector, a first cam pin 52 is formed on a female housing 41, a second cam pin 86 is formed on a moving plate 80, and a cam groove 78 is formed on a lever 70. Fitting-in and separation of both housings 11, 41 are carried out since the first and the second cam pins 52, 86 in a combined state slide-move a groove face of the cam groove 78 after the lever 70 is displaced against the housing 11 while the first and the second cam pins 52, 86 are combined with each other. The first cam pin 52 only slides on an outward passage side cam surface 78C of the cam groove 78 in a fitting-in process of the both housing 11, 41, and the second cam pin 86 only slides on a homeward passage side cam surface 78D of the cam groove 78 in a separation process of the both housings 11, 41.
