PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric contactor with a state of the small number of components maintained and capable of stable electric contact and connection, and to provide an electric connection device using the same. SOLUTION: The electric contactor electrically connecting two objects to be contacted is formed of two members of a movable plunger and a coil spring unit, wherein the movable plunger includes a body part formed in a cylindrical shape, a contact part formed at an upper end of the body part and capable of contacting with one of the objects to be contacted, and a shoulder part engaged with a member housing and retaining the electric contactor. The coil spring unit includes an effective winding part with its free end housed in and retained by the body part of the movable plunger and functioning as a spirally wound coil spring, and a terminal part with its free end capable of contacting with the other object to be contacted.
