PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device and a radio communication method, by which a DC component can be reduced from a transmission signal. SOLUTION: The radio communication device includes: a mixer which carries out the multiplication of a local oscillation frequency signal to transmission data by which orthogonal modulation is carried out, and outputs a high-frequency signal; a distribution section which distributes the high-frequency signal; a detection circuit which detects a DC component contained in the high-frequency signal based on the high-frequency signal distributed by the distribution section; a correction signal generation section which generates a correction signal for removing the DC component from the high-frequency signal based on the DC component detected by the detection circuit; a correction section which corrects the high-frequency signal with the correction signal generated by the correction signal generation section; and a transmission section which transmits the high-frequency signal corrected by the correction section.
