PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein there is no mapping apparatus capable of detecting the location (region) and time of generation of myoclonus and the temporal fluctuation at high spatial (covering the whole body) and temporal resolution. SOLUTION: The searching point state mapping apparatus includes an observation target region disposing means, a searching point disposing means, a searching point state detecting means, a detection information input means, and a searching point state mapping means. With this structure, the location (region) and time of generation of the myoclonus, etc. and the temporal fluctuation can be detected at high spatial (covering the whole body) and temporal resolution (automatically), and the result of detection can be mapped spatially (locations where the myoclonus is generated), chronologically (times when the myoclonus is generated) and clearly (by clearly displaying the correlations (mapping relations) between spatial information and chronological information when necessary) by the mapping apparatus.
