PHOTOLUMINESCENT SHADE ACTUATING DIPPED AND MAIN-BEAM LIGHT FOR BIXENON HEADLAMPS

The photoluminescent shade (3) of the invention is disposed between the lens (5) and the reflector (1) of a device actuating the dipped and main-beam light for bixenon headlamps, being realised in fused glass incorporating photoluminescent pigments throughout the volume thereof, in such a manner that on being activated from within by means of a xenon lamp (2) it is visible from the exterior through the lens (5). Furthermore it may incorporate a photoluminescent element activated directly by the action of the external light, if any, without the intervention of the xenon lamp (2).
