<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design logical screen transition as well as physical screen transition. <P>SOLUTION: A DB information input part 31 inputs DB information showing the name of a table to be used in an application. A definition file generation part 32 generates second logical design information by adding the table name shown by the DB information to first logical design information stored in a screen transition pattern storage part 22. A screen transition edition part 33 prompts a user to select the items of the second logical design information generated by the definition file generation part 32 and the physical design information stored in the screen transition pattern storage part 22 at every inquiry processing.
