<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid locking device which enables a lock member to be manually moved with ease. <P>SOLUTION: In this lid locking device 100, the lock member 8 advances to engage with a portion-to-be-engaged of a lid and lock the lid in a closed state, and recedes to enable a lid opening motion. A slider-crank mechanism 50 is used for the driving of the lock member 8; and the advance of the lock member 8 is performed only by a force which makes a crank groove 530 of a slider 53 pushed by a crank pin 511.
