<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and system which executes an image quality adjustment at a proper timing, or secures an image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus and system determines whether an adjustment execution condition is realized during an execution of a print job, and when determining that the condition is realized, it executes an adjustment priority processing to perform an image quality adjustment before printing of a first color page included in the print job is started.
