摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel type two-dimensional image detector capable of reducing to the utmost, leakage of fluorescence to a part other than an incident pixel. <P>SOLUTION: In a grid-like structure wherein reflection plates for reflecting fluorescence from a phosphor sheet for detecting heavy particle beams or neutrons are arrayed at equal intervals in the vertical axis direction, and reflection plates for reflecting the fluorescence are arrayed orthogonally to the reflection plate row at equal intervals in the transverse axis to constitute a reflection plate row, a grid-like fluorescence detector is constituted by providing a groove for passing a wavelength shift fiber for vertical axis detection for detecting fluorescence on a center position at vertical axis intervals on a position of an upper half of the vertical axis direction reflection plates, and by providing a groove for passing a wavelength shift fiber for transverse axis detection for detecting fluorescence on a center position at transverse axis intervals on a position of a lower half of the transverse axis direction reflection plates. A two-dimensional heavy particle image detector or a two-dimensional neutron image detector has a structure wherein the phosphor sheet is arranged only on the front surface of the detector or on the front surface and the back surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
