<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively increase the earthquake resistance of a building with diagonal braces, which sufficiently withstands a horizontal force acting on beams in an earthquake, and economically construct the building. <P>SOLUTION: This building includes first and second columns positioned at an interval, the beams between the first column and the second column, a third column at a distance from the second column outward, a first gusset plate which is disposed between the second column and the third column, attached to the second column, and positioned at the same height as the beams, a second gusset plate which is disposed between the second column and the third column, attached to the third column, and positioned at the different height from the first gusset plate, and the diagonal braces which are disposed between the second column and the third column, attached to the second column with the first gusset plate interposed therebetween, and attached to the third column with the second gusset plate interposed therebetween. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
