摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure for an electric motor that has excellent cooling performances and that restrains acceleration loss of oil. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling structure for the electric motor includes an end plate 22 provided at a rotation core 2 through which a rotation axis 17 is inserted. In the cooling structure where grooves 26 are formed on the end plate 22, cooling medium (oil) is supplied from supply holes 32 to cooling passages 27 that are provided between a wall surface of the end plate 22 and an end face of the rotation core 2 in a direction of an axis A1, passes through the cooling passages 27 and cools the rotation core 2, and the cooling medium discharged from a discharging hole 34 cools a stator core 1. The discharging hole 34 is constituted so that the cooling medium is discharged at speed lower than that of rotation of the rotation core. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
