CODE STRING SEARCH DEVICE, SEARCH METHOD, AND PROGRAM

Provided is a data structure for an index that makes it possible to make use of the structure of a structured code string when searching said code string. Also, said index can be created faster than conventional index data structures. Also provided is a code string search technique using the provided index data structure. First, a per-code ID range table is created that stores the code ID range for each code. An ID relationship table is also created; for each code ID, said table stores the code ID located after that code ID. A first search code string, which comprises data-representing codes or code strings and code-delimiting codes, is used to search for partial code strings in a target code string. Next, a second search code string, which comprises code-delimiting codes, is used to find codes or code strings delimited by the code-delimiting codes in the partial code string found by the search.
