<p>The staircase ascending and descending protection unit (10) has a personal holding device (12), and a protection device (14). The personal holding device is attached to a person in detachable manner for holding a person. The personal holding device is connected with protection device by a connection piece (16). The protection device has a receptacle device (18), on which the connection piece is retained with overhauling force (20) by pre-stress and is released against the overhauling force. The receptacle device has a latch mechanism, which is releasable by a firm release of connection piece.</p> |
