<p>The method involves detecting steering acceleration and the driving speed of a vehicle. The detected steering acceleration is compared with a minimum and a maximum pre-determined or pre-selected steering acceleration-threshold value based on the driving speed. A signal is generated and provided by detecting undershooting and overshooting of minimum or maximum steering acceleration-threshold value. An independent claim is included for a safety and warning system for detecting a small tire-to-surface adhesive strength or increased internal friction of a steering mechanism of a vehicle.</p> |
