PURPOSE: A grip, an optical fiber sensor using the grip, and a measuring method using the optical fiber sensor are provided to directly fix the grip at the fixing position of a thin long member instead of fitting the grip from the end of the thin long member. CONSTITUTION: A grip comprises a sleeve and a socket. The sleeve is placed on the outer surface of one side of a thin long member. The socket(20) is fixed to the exterior of the sleeve so that the sleeve is pressed against the thin long member. An optical fiber sensor using the grip comprises an optical fiber sensing part in which the grip is settled to provide tension.
