<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element capable of making illuminance of illumination light more uniform and reducing glare when a plurality of light sources such as LEDs are used as a light source, and a light emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device 21 has a light guide part 1A showing a triangle pole and, out of three side faces of the light guide part 1A, one side face is made an incident face 4 into which light enters, other one side is made a total reflection face 5 which totally reflects light entered, and the remaining one side face is made an outgoing face 6 from which the light totally reflected is emitted to the outside. A light guide body 1 having a first prism part 7 consisting of a plurality of first triangle prisms with a ridge part having a ridgeline direction facing the direction to cross a plane including the total reflection face 5 and a plane including the outgoing face 6 is provided on the incident face 4, and the plurality of light sources 22 which make light enter into the incident face 4 are arranged in the arrangement direction of the plurality of the first triangle prisms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
