<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive coin discrimination apparatus that facilitates a setting change by reducing the number of switches for changing setting about the coin discrimination apparatus used for a vending machine, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The coin discrimination apparatus is provided with a mode switching means 41 that is switched into either a normal operation mode or a setting change mode. A switching part 40 is provided with generation specifying switches 43a, 43b and 43c, and money amount specifying switches 43a, 44b, 44c and 44c. In the setting change mode, the setting change part 42 sets kinds of coins to be discriminated by the operation of the generation specifying switches 43a-43c and the money amount specifying switches 44a-44d, which enables the compact and inexpensive coin discrimination apparatus to discriminate the many kinds of coins with the reduced number of switches. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
