<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vest-type restricting device reduced in the burden on the armpit of a wearer while reliably fixing the wearer's body to bedding. <P>SOLUTION: The vest-type restricting device 10 includes a back body part 14 fixed to a setting position on the bedding, and a left front body part 16L and a right front body part 16R each attached to the back body part 14. A cushion 64L abutting on the armpit EL of a wearer H is attached to the left front body part 16L. The cushion 64L is sewn on both of a center top restricting belt base 58LM sewn on the lower end position of the armhole of the left front body part 16L, and a center top restricting belt 60LM sewn on the center top restricting belt base 58LM.
