The invention relates to a measuring sensor comprising a sensor housing (71), of which a housing end on the inlet side is formed by means of an inlet-side flow divider (201) having exactly four respectively mutually spaced flow openings (201A, 201B, 201C, 201D), and a housing end on the outlet side is formed by means of an outlet-side flow divider (202) having exactly four respectively mutually spaced flow openings (202A, 202B, 202C, 202D), and a pipe arrangement having exactly four curved measuring pipes (181, 182, 183, 184) connected to the flow dividers (201, 202), forming flow paths fluidically connected in parallel, for carrying flowing medium, and each of the four measuring pipes in each case opening with an inlet-side measuring pipe end in respectively one of the flow openings of the flow divider (201) and with an outlet-side measuring pipe end in respectively one of the flow openings of the flow divider (202). In the measuring sensor according to the invention, the two flow dividers (201, 202) are additionally formed and disposed in the measuring sensor in such a way that the pipe assembly has an imaginary longitudinal sectional plane (YZ) running both between a first and a second of the measuring pipes and between a third and a fourth of the measuring pipes and with respect to which the pipe assembly is mirror-symmetrical, and an imaginary longitudinal sectional plane (XZ) located both between the first and the third of the measuring pipes and between the second and the fourth of the measuring pipes and perpendicular to the imaginary longitudinal sectional plane (YZ) and with respect to which the pipe arrangement is likewise mirror-symmetrical. An electro-mechanical exciter assembly (5) of the measuring sensor is used to generate and/or maintain mechanical vibrations of the four measuring pipes (181, 182, 183, 184).
