<p>A method, a system and a client for downloading software installation packages are provided. The method includes that: a client obtains list information of the software installation packages from a software storage server; the client selects at least one software installation package to be downloaded from the list information of the software installation packages; the client selects a download target source from at least one of the software storage server and clients which have downloaded the selected software installation package, and requests and downloads the software installation package from the target source. With the present invention, the download and installation of the software installation packages can be implemented without the need to search the download addresses of the software installation packages from network.</p> |
