PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which can easily perform correction operation even when a wrong input is included between character strings.

SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes: a character input part for receiving the input of a character string; a phrase dictionary part in which a plurality of phrases are stored in association with their reading; a determination part for determining wrong input associated characters which are characters associated with a wrong input from character strings on the basis of predetermined user operation; a retrieval part for retrieving the phrase dictionary part by using the character string whose input is received and the wrong input associated characters and extracting phrases corresponding to correction candidates for correcting the wrong input of the character string whose input is received; and a display part for selectively displaying the retrieved phrases.
