PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for managing a phonebook thereof are provided to easily update a picture of a user which is stored in a phone book. CONSTITUTION: A method for managing a phonebook of a mobile terminal comprises steps of: displaying phonebook information; requesting a picture to a user through a predetermined picture requesting method(S40); and adding or updating a phonebook picture using a picture which is received from a specific user(S60). |
