<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic substrate with excellent durability, which is hardly broken by external force, even if a metal fitting which may generate a large tensile stress and the like, is attached to a substrate body. <P>SOLUTION: A multilayer ceramic substrate 1a includes: a substrate body 2 including a plurality of ceramic layers s1 to s8 and conductive layers p1 to p7 formed between the ceramic layers s1 to s8, and a metal fitting 10 fixed onto the surface of a metallized layer 7 formed on the rear surface 4 of the body 2 through an adhesive material 9. The area of the bottom surface A1 of the base part 12 of the metal fitting 10 that is in contact with the adhesive material 9 is no less than 15 mm<SP>2</SP>, while the cross section A2 of a functional part 13 erected on the outside of the substrate body 2 from the base part 12 is not more than the bottom surface A1 of the base part 12 of the metal fitting 10, and not less than 5 mm<SP>2</SP>. In the substrate body 2, a ceramic portion SA having no conductive layers p1 to p7 formed is disposed inside a region (ma×sd) created by projecting the metallized layer 7 fixed to the metal fitting 10 along the thickness direction of the substrate body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
