PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a makeup composition which maintains good durability on eyelashes or eyebrows and furthermore has good makeup removability while further improving this durability. SOLUTION: The composition for making up keratin fibers such as eyelashes or eyebrows, having improved makeup removability, includes in a continuous aqueous phase an aqueous dispersion of a particular polyurethane present in an amount of solids not less than 5 wt.% relative to the total weight of the composition and an emulsifying system including less than 2 wt.% triethanolamine.
