PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and intuitively make a false recognition portion of an expression to be corrected. SOLUTION: This expression layout change device includes a change part 13 changing layout information of a constituent element included in an already analyzed expression according to editing operation of a user. The change part 13 executes: range change processing of changing a range of the constituent element that is an arithmetic target of a mathematical symbol when performing expansion/contraction operation to the prescribed mathematical symbol; an interlocking type meaning change processing of changing a position of the constituent element into a position after movement when performing movement operation to the prescribed constituent element, and changing a size of the constituent element into a size corresponding to the position after the movement; and a non-interlocking type meaning change processing of displaying a plurality of interpretation candidates interpretable based on the constituent element when performing selection operation to the prescribed constituent element, and changing a layout of the constituent element into a layout indicated by one interpretation candidate when selecting the one interpretation candidate.
