<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate resolution-setting in a display device in display of an input video from an external part. <P>SOLUTION: In a projector 10, a video processing part 23 of an image processing part 20 performs various kinds of image processing, such as scaling processing, luminance adjustment and color adjustment, in accordance with a predetermined resolution, based on the video signal determination result obtained by a signal determination part 22. Further, the video processing part 23 performs list presentation processing.
