PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus capable of providing a high-resolution AD conversion result without redundantly increasing a circuit scale. SOLUTION: This solid-state imaging apparatus includes: a pixel array portion having first and second pixel columns in each of which a plurality of pixels each outputting a photoelectric conversion signal in accordance with an object image are arranged in the column direction; first and second AD conversion circuits arranged in the column direction and each converting the photoelectric conversion signal output from the pixel to a digital signal; a switch portion having a first connection mode for connecting the first pixel column to the first AD conversion circuit and connecting the second pixel column to the second AD conversion circuit, and a second connection mode for connecting the first pixel column to the first AD conversion circuit and the second AD conversion circuit; and an addition portion for adding the digital signals output from the first AD conversion circuit and the second AD conversion circuit.
