PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video signal processing apparatus capable of generating an output video signal different from an input video signal at high speed on the basis of the input video signal. SOLUTION: The video signal processing apparatus includes a receiver for receiving an input of a video signal composed of a plurality of lines, a filter for generating a line to be output on the basis of lines of a portion of the video signal whose input is received by the receiver, and a controller for controlling the filter, wherein the self-processor includes a plurality of filters, and the controller controls so as to execute the generation of lines for output by the plurality of filters in a parallel manner.
