PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily inspect-replace an impeller and a shaft seal part by opening the shaft end side, by simplifying and space-saving a doubled auxiliary machine unit constituted of two pumps, by enlarging up to a capacity area of a double-suction type impeller, in a horizontal shaft centrifugal pump integral with an electric motor. SOLUTION: In both a single-suction type and a double-suction type of the impeller by arranging a suction port in the same height as the axis in both left-right or any of a caring, a suction flow passage reaching a suction port of the impeller and a passing flow passage between the suction ports are formed, and a valve and a pipe can be intensively arranged on a vertical plane on the pump periphery with the shaft end side as an operation-maintenance front face. The shaft seal part can be collectively removed and replaced by arranging a shaft seal housing in a casing cover directly opening on the shaft end and a shaft-through part of the casing, and a load with a flange joining surface with the electric motor is shared by arranging an auxiliary support leg in a casing lower part.
