Provided is a mobile station device that communicates wirelessly with a plurality of base station devices. If a base station device selected during reselection is a base station device to which the mobile station device cannot camp on, and there is also a notification prohibiting reselection of a base station device with the same frequency, the provided mobile station device does not immediately apply said prohibiting notification, and instead applies the prohibiting notification upon transmission from the mobile station device.
