Continuous mixing of organosilicon compounds with highly dispersed fillers and optionally other components in a mixing unit comprising housing and mixing body whose rotating mixing elements exhibit rotating speeds of at least 1 m/second, is claimed, where a surface of the inner wall of the housing is covered at least to 20 area percentage with a material, which consists of at least 50 wt.% of polytetrafluoroethylene, where the layer thickness is at least 0.5 mm. An independent claim is included for a device comprising the mixing unit.
