Disclosed is a confidential search system wherein when data is shared in a group, searchable data is flexibly controlled in accordance with the role and privilege of the user. In the confidential search system (100), a confidential search is implemented using inner product predicate encryption processing which allows encrypted data to be decrypted when the inner product of an attribute vector and a predicate vector is a predetermined value by means of a pairing operation of encrypted data generated on the basis of the attribute vector and a decryption key generated on the basis of the predicate vector. Particularly, by devising a method for generating the attribute and predicate vectors, the confidential search system (100) is able to flexibly control searchable data in accordance with a user's role and privileges.
