The device has units for heating body areas of a motor vehicle i.e. car, where the units are arranged in a wheel housing (2) and/or in a region of a door sill (3). The units are provided as electrically operable heating elements i.e. electrical heating films, or heat transmitters. The transmitters are integrated as condensers or an under cooling-heat exchanger into a refrigerant circuit. The units are arranged in a rear portion of the housing in a travel direction (8). The units are arranged at an angle of 45 degree relative to a wheel axle, where a shaking unit is integrated in the device.
