A method for discovering Femto BSs, a method for handover pre-processing and a terminal in a wireless communication system are disclosed in the present invention. The terminal processing overhead is saved, and it is avoided that the terminal attempts to handvoer the unaccessible Femto BSs. The method for discovering Femto BSs includes that when the terminal communicates with the present serving BS, the terminal measures the synchronization sequence in the same frequency as that of the present serving BS and discovers whether there are the neighboring Femto BSs according to the synchronization sequence. The method for Femto BSs handover pre-processing includes that after the terminal discovers neighboring Femto BSs, the terminal performs handover pre-processing, determines the accessibility of neighboring Femto BSs, and performs corresponding processing according to the determination.
