<p>The method involves loading a grid-based three dimensional land model (5) of a land topography and road course data from a data memory. A texture co-ordinate is calculated for each pixel (9) of a two dimensional display device, and distance between the co-ordinates and a course (7) of a road in an image section (8) to be displayed is calculated. The model with the course of the road is displayed in the display device, where the pixels (9a) whose texture coordinates lie within a preset distance range to the course of the road is displayed with a color provided for displaying the road.</p> |
