<p>PURPOSE: A vertical-axis wind turbine using both drag and lift is provided to improve power generation efficiency by employing blades capable of generating lift by venture effect. CONSTITUTION: A vertical-axis wind turbine using both drag and lift comprises three or more blades(1). Each blade has a leading edge which is formed in a semicircular shape protruded in the rotational direction of the wind turbine and a tailing edge which is formed straight in the tangential direction of one of end points of the semicircle of the leading unit that is closest to a rotary shaft.</p> |
