摘要 FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of gas absorbers from titanium powder to be used in electric vacuum and other instruments as absorbers of diverse gases at reduced pressure in X-ray tubes or fundamental particle accelerators. Proposed method comprises mixing titanium dioxide with reducing agent and heating prepared mix. Aluminium nanopowder is used as reducing agent. Said nano powder is produced by electric explosion of aluminium conductor in atmosphere of argon, conductor-to-titanium dioxide ratio varying from 0.8:1 to 1.2:1. Mix is heated at 400-600C in vacuum at 1.9-2.1 Pa for 3-5 minutes. ^ EFFECT: reduced power consumption, higher activity of gas absorber. ^ 1 dwg, 4 tbl
