<p>The device has a container for retaining lubricant, and a movable piston unit provided in the container for forming a lubricant chamber (17). The lubricant chamber has two openings formed as a lubricant inlet and a lubricant outlet (21), where one of the openings is arranged in the piston unit. A pump provides the lubricant from the lubricant chamber to the lubricant outlet, and a filling device (27) is arranged at a side of the container, where the side is arranged opposite to the lubricant chamber with respect to the piston unit.
