<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter apparatus equipped with a mechanism capable of efficiently recovering a substance to be removed precipitated in a tank. <P>SOLUTION: This filter apparatus 20 has a tank 50 for housing a fluid containing the substance to be removed, a filter device 53 immersed in the tank 50 and a recovery tank 15 communicating with the lower part of the tank 50 through a valve V to permit the sedimentation of the substance to be removed. The recovery tank 15 can be separated from the tank 50 and is constituted so as to recover the substance to be removed precipitated in the recovery tank 15 by bringing the valve V to a shut-off state to separate the recovery tank 15 from the tank 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
