ERROR PREVENTION METHOD BY RECYCLING OF EEPROM

PURPOSE: A method of EEPROM initialization is provided to prevent the generation of error on a product. CONSTITUTION: An EEPROM(Electrically Erasable Programmable ROM)(20) of a nonvolatile memory keeps data even a power failure happened. The EEPROM can be reused in other electronic product. A CPU(10) determines whether the EEPROM is reused one or not through a test process. If the EEPROM is reused one the EEPROM is initialized by writing the EEPROM address to OxFF.
