METHOD FOR MUTUAL AUTHENTICATION BETWEEN TAG AND READER

PURPOSE: A mutual authentication method between a tag and a reader is provided to perform mutual authentication between a tag and a reader without using a certificate in an RFID environment. CONSTITUTION: An authentication tree for a tag(300) and a reader(200) is created by using a public key. The authentication tree information is transmitted in the reader and the tag. The reader transmits the authentication tree to the tag. The tag transmits the public key and the authentication tree information to the reader.
