PURPOSE: A noise reduction type microwave oven is provided to reduce the vibration and noise occurring under the influence of a magnetic field by installing a metallic cover portion to the outside of a transistor and cutting off a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION: A noise reduction type microwave oven(1) includes a transistor(20) installed to an electric field chamber(12), and a cover portion(30) covering the outside of the transistor and reducing the outflow of a magnetic field occurring in the transistor.
