Coated additive for concrete production

Preparing a coated supplement comprises coating a surface of a mineral aggregate with a polymer film and curing the polymer film. Independent claims are included for: (1) the coated aggregate obtained by the above method; (2) a concrete composition for making concrete comprising at least a cement, the coated aggregate and optionally concrete additives and/or concrete admixtures; (3) a method for producing a concrete comprising mixing the components of the concrete composition with water, forming and curing to concrete; and (4) a concrete obtained by curing the concrete composition.
