PURPOSE: A skirting board having a profiled rail is provided to improve the adaptability and/or generality by being composed of an elastic material, polymer or polymer foam. CONSTITUTION: A skirting board(1) comprises a profile rail(2) which forms an open side and a receiving part(11) for a cover(5). The receiving part has one or more openings(3). The profile rail has sides facing the openings, wherein stop parts(4) drawn out toward the openings are formed on the sides. The cover is pressed against the stop parts by one or more elastic members. |
